What to know after your treatment
About this guide
FlyToGlow provides the following content solely as an English translation of aftercare guidance supplied by a clinic. FlyToGlow does not independently create, prescribe, or replace medical aftercare instructions. Always follow the instructions provided directly by the clinic that treated you. If there is any difference between this translation and the instructions from your treating clinic, the treating clinic's instructions take precedence.
1. Skin Booster Aftercare
- For at least 3 days after treatment, it is best to avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, and strenuous exercise.
- Avoid aspirin, combination cold medicines, and combination headache medicines. If you have a cold or headache, take a single-ingredient Tylenol product.
- For about 2–3 days after treatment, the skin may look red and bumpy or embossed, and bruising may occur depending on the treatment area. These reactions gradually improve over time. Do not touch or press the treated area.
- Light cleansing and makeup are possible from the day after treatment.
- From the day after treatment, there is usually little or no pain or swelling. If significant pain or swelling continues after that, visit the clinic promptly.
- The effect of the injection treatment can usually be felt within 1–2 weeks.
- For maximum effect, about 3 treatment sessions at intervals of 1–2 months are recommended.
