1. Scope of this Policy
This Cookie Policy applies to flytoglow.com, any subdomains operated by FlyToGlow, and related web-based booking, AI Glow Check, account, payment, review, marketing and support pages controlled by FlyToGlow.
This Policy does not apply to websites, apps or systems operated by Partner Clinics, payment processors, travel providers, social media platforms, analytics providers or other third parties. Those third parties may use their own cookies and tracking technologies under their own policies.
2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies help websites function, remember preferences, understand usage patterns, protect accounts, measure marketing performance and improve user experience.
Similar technologies include pixels, tags, scripts, software development kits, local storage, session storage, device identifiers, advertising identifiers and server-side tracking logs. In this Policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies unless the context requires otherwise.
3. Our Key Commitments
- We use strictly necessary cookies to operate and secure the Service.
- Where required by applicable law, we obtain your consent before using analytics, marketing or other non-essential cookies.
- You can manage non-essential cookie preferences through our cookie banner, preference centre or your browser settings.
- We do not use cookies to store facial images uploaded for AI Glow Check.
- We do not use cookies to collect sensitive medical information for advertising purposes, and we do not place marketing pixels on pages where you upload facial images or submit sensitive skin concerns.
- Blocking certain cookies may affect features such as login, the booking flow, language preferences and fraud prevention.
4. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use, or may use, the following categories of cookies. The specific cookies active on the Service are listed and kept up to date in our cookie preference centre.
| Category | Purpose | Essential? | Typical Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Core website functions, account login, booking flow, security, fraud prevention, consent storage and payment routing. | Yes | Session to 12 months |
| Functional / Preference | Remember choices such as language, country, currency, saved filters and accessibility settings. | No, unless required for a requested feature | Session to 12 months |
| Analytics / Performance | Measure traffic, page performance, conversion funnels and feature usage. | No | Session to 24 months |
| Marketing / Advertising | Measure campaigns, attribute ads, limit ad frequency and support retargeting on third-party platforms. | No | Session to 24 months |
| Security / Fraud Prevention | Protect accounts, detect abuse, manage rate limits and identify suspicious activity. | Usually yes | Session to 24 months |
| Payment and Booking | Support secure checkout, payment status, refund workflows and appointment confirmation. | Often yes for checkout | Session to 24 months |
5. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Service to work. Where permitted by applicable law, we use them without optional cookie consent because they are necessary to provide the functions you request — for example, account login, session management, security, consent storage, fraud prevention, checkout, booking state and load balancing.
If you block strictly necessary cookies through browser settings, the Service may not function correctly, and you may be unable to log in, complete bookings, submit forms, use AI Glow Check, make payments or access secure pages.
6. Functional and Preference Cookies
Functional cookies help the Service remember your choices and improve convenience, such as your preferred language, country, currency, clinic search filters, recently viewed categories and accessibility settings. Where required by law, we request your consent before setting functional cookies that are not necessary for a feature you have requested.
7. Analytics and Performance Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with the Service, which pages are visited, how booking funnels perform, whether errors occur, and how we can improve. Analytics data may include page views, clicks, session duration, referral source, approximate location, device information, browser type, operating system and event data.
We configure analytics tools to minimise data collection where reasonably possible, including IP masking or aggregation where the tool supports it. Where required by applicable law, we use analytics cookies only after you have given consent.
8. Marketing and Advertising Cookies
Marketing cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, attribute bookings to campaigns, limit ad frequency, build audiences, conduct retargeting and show more relevant advertisements on third-party platforms.
In jurisdictions where prior consent is required, we activate marketing cookies only after you have given consent through our consent mechanism. We do not use facial images, AI Glow Check results, medical consultation details or sensitive health-related information for targeted advertising.
9. AI Glow Check and Cookies
AI Glow Check uses only the session and security technologies necessary to enable image upload, account authentication, fraud prevention, analysis request routing and result display. Cookies are not used to store facial images. Facial images and AI Glow Check inputs are handled under our Privacy Policy and AI Glow Check Disclaimer, not this Cookie Policy. We do not place marketing pixels on pages where you upload facial images or submit sensitive skin concerns.
10. Third-Party Cookies and Providers
Some cookies may be set by third-party providers that support the Service, such as payment processors, cloud providers, analytics providers, fraud-prevention providers, customer support tools, marketing platforms and consent-management providers. These providers may independently determine how they use cookies and collected data. Please review the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant providers.
We maintain a current list of the material cookie providers used on the Service in our cookie preference centre, and we update it when providers are added or changed.
11. Cookie Consent and Preference Management
Where required by law, we use a cookie banner and preference centre to request your consent for non-essential cookies before they are placed on your device. Our consent mechanism allows you to:
- accept all optional cookies;
- reject all optional cookies where legally required;
- choose specific categories of optional cookies;
- change or withdraw your consent at any time with comparable ease; and
- continue using the Service even if you reject optional cookies, except where a cookie is necessary for a feature you request.
We store a consent-preference cookie to remember your choices. If you clear cookies or use a different browser or device, you may need to set your preferences again.
12. Browser and Device Controls
Most browsers allow you to block, delete or restrict cookies through their privacy or security settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent the Service from working properly — you may be unable to log in, maintain booking sessions, complete payment, use AI Glow Check, store preferences or access secure pages.
Mobile devices may also allow you to limit advertising identifiers or reset device identifiers. These settings may affect personalised advertising and measurement on third-party platforms.
13. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” or similar signals. There is no consistent global industry standard for responding to such signals, and we may not respond to all of them unless required by applicable law. Where legally required and technically feasible, we honour recognised privacy preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.
14. Retention of Cookie Data
Cookie duration depends on the category and provider. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period unless you delete them earlier. We configure cookie retention to be proportionate to the purpose, and we retain consent records as necessary to demonstrate compliance.
| Cookie Type | Retention Standard |
|---|---|
| Session and security | Session to 12 months, depending on fraud-prevention and authentication needs. |
| Consent preference | 6 to 12 months, so that your choices are remembered while remaining easy to change. |
| Functional preferences | Session to 12 months (language, country and currency preferences). |
| Analytics | Up to 24 months; shorter where reasonably possible. |
| Marketing | Up to 24 months; used only with valid consent where required. |
15. International Transfers and Cookie Data
Cookie-related data may be processed in Singapore, South Korea, the United States, the European Economic Area or other locations where FlyToGlow, its affiliates or its service providers operate. Where cookie data constitutes personal data, international transfers are handled under the FlyToGlow Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, and we put appropriate contractual, technical and organisational measures in place with material vendors.
16. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, vendors, legal requirements, business operations or cookie practices. Material changes will be communicated through the website, cookie banner, preference centre, email or other appropriate means. The effective date at the top of this Policy indicates when the latest version became effective.
