Peeling Aftercare

What to know after your treatment

About this guide

FlyToGlow provides the following content solely as an English translation of aftercare guidance supplied by a clinic. FlyToGlow does not independently create, prescribe, or replace medical aftercare instructions. Always follow the instructions provided directly by the clinic that treated you. If there is any difference between this translation and the instructions from your treating clinic, the treating clinic's instructions take precedence.

1. Peeling Aftercare

  • Cleansing is possible from the day after treatment.
  • Mild redness and swelling may occur on the day of treatment and the following day, and peeling may begin about 2–3 days after treatment.
  • If peeling occurs, it is a natural reaction. Do not wash the skin excessively or remove the peeling skin by force.
  • For about 7–10 days after treatment, it is best to avoid saunas, jjimjilbang, and soaking in hot baths.
  • Apply moisturizing cream frequently and thoroughly to prevent dryness.
  • When going outside, apply sunscreen thoroughly to help prevent pigmentation. A sunscreen with a high SPF is recommended.
